Q: How long are Appointments? 

A: All appointments are 1 hour long.

Q: Can I still make an appointment without a referral? 

A: Yes! We offer a self-referral/self-pay option. Evaluation appointments are $175. Follow-up appointments are $150. Our therapists do an excellent job during the evaluation with education, exercises and techniques, that a follow-up appointment may not be necessary. It's up to the patient how many times they want to come in for appointments.

Q: What if I need to change or cancel my appointment?

A: We have a 48-hour change/cancel policy. If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please call us or send us a text directly and we can reschedule your appointment. If this request is within the 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, you may incur a $50 fee. 

Q: Can I text your clinic?

A: Yes. However, you are unable to respond to the reminder texts that are sent out 48 hours before your appointment. You may send us texts directly at 808-378-4151.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Wear clothing that you are comfortable moving around in. You may be doing stretches, exercises and movements so you don't want to wear confining clothing.

Q: How many times do I need to come into the clinic?

A: It depends on the treatment plan your therapist advises. Usually patients are seen 1 time a week for 4, 6, or 8 weeks. More visits may be required for complex cases.

Q: Do I have to have an internal exam performed?

A: While internal pelvic floor exams are paramount at determining the correct plan of care for your individual needs, they are never mandatory. It’s up to you to decide what you are comfortable with and your therapist will guide you with options to internal exams.

Q: What if I don’t have child care? Can I bring my child?

A: We love babies! You are always welcome to bring your child. Just remember your session may have to be modified to accommodate the needs of your child. To be considerate of other patients, please make alternative child care arrangements for multiple children or children that have difficulty with quiet play.

A: We're in the Kukui Professional Center at 4359 Kukui Grove St. #102, Lihue HI 96766, across Nawiliwili Road from Ross; across the corner from King Auto Center at the signal light (Haleko Rd & Nawiliwili Rd) in the slanted roof buildings between Haruki Dental and Kaua’i Family Dentistry.
